Certificate II in Agriculture - SECOND YEAR (Partial Completion)

This course aims to encourage students to understand the industry and gain experience in working with livestock, farm work, environmental sustainability, chemical usage and farm maintenance.

33 weeks plus holiday block training

Schedule

One morning or afternoon block of delivery each week

Prerequisites

Students must provide a USI at the point of enrolment

Experience in working with livestock, farm work, chemical usage and gain the basic skills to working on a farm and in the agriculture industry.

Dress code

Solid enclosed footwear- NOT runners
Cotton clothing - NOT tracksuit pants/NO nylon
Long pants - Jeans are ideal but they MUST NOT have frayed edges
Long sleeve shirt or top

Contribution to the VCE

The Certificate II in Agriculture is a non-scored program.  VCE students will receive a unit 1-4 over two years.  VCAL student will receive 2 credit points in first year and 2 credit points in second year.
