Certificate III in Make-up - One Year Program (Partial Completion)

The Certificate III in Make-up provides you with a range of skills and principles of make-up application. Skills covered include airbrush make-up and creative make-up.

This course will provide you with an insight and basic knowledge of the make-up and beauty industry operation.

Materials that are to be brought to class are to be purchased from the SWTAFE bookshop

Flat closed-toe shoes
Clothing which is suitable for program activities in line with South West TAFE's dress code

Contribution to the VCE

The Certificate III in Make Up is a non-scored program.  VCE students will receive a units 1-2 over one year program.
VCE VM students will complete a minimum of 180 nominal hours a year to obtain their senior secondary certificate.

* Please note: If students commence with Certificate III in Make Up (partial completion) in the first year of a VET DSS program and continue with Certificate II in Salon Assistant in a second year of VET DSS program. They not be eligible to obtain a unit 3-4 sequence. If students are looking to obtain units 1-4 sequence they must complete Certificate II in Salon Assistant in the first year before commencing Certificate III in Make Up (partial completion). For more information regarding units 1-4 sequence requirements, please check with your school for more details.
